Utilities for Open Data Platforms


D3 plus is a javascript data visualization library that takes care of many of the common complexities of svg visualizations, such as text wrapping and smart defaults. D3plus is used frequently in the front-end of platforms such as DataUSA, DataChile, etc.

Canon is a reusable node-react utility designed to facilitate the creation of open data visualization platforms. It is at the heart of the latest versions of DataUSA & DataChile.

Email Metadata Visualization

Immersion is a personal email metadata visualization tool. It was created by Daniel Smilkov and Deepak Jagdish as part of their Master Thesis at the MIT Media Lab and was released in 2013.

Open Teams is a team based email metadata visualization tool. It was created by Jingxian Zhang as part of her Master thesis and was released in 2019.
